Opportunity Overview

SD Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to help identify emerging technology trends and provide scientific and technical guidance on biomedical research programs. This role will support ARPA-H Program Managers for cutting-edge research projects.

Responsibilities Include

• Review scientific and product information with an eye for new high-impact solutions that could transform society's most challenging health problems.
• Identify the driving forces behind these technologies.
• Provide holistic and interdisciplinary technical expertise and influence through leadership and services.
• Provide strategic advice regarding technology and operations.
• Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and program managers to support strategy implementation.
• Work with government clients within the research funding landscape.

Requirements Overview

• Ph.D. in Biology or a related scientific field.
• 15 years of experience conducting and/or overseeing scientific research.
• Possess the acumen to discern and assess emerging technologies with substantial commercial promise.
• Experience working with government clients and obtaining federal research funding.
• Ability for quick response and dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Experience with ARPA processes and direct support to Government program managers highly preferred.

• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
